We're flying on a plane rather like this ;-)
We're spending the first day in Amsterdam and staying here.
Next we're having a fancy night in Paris and staying here.
After that we're going to stay in a less fancy Parisian hotel for a few days.
Then it's back to Amsterdam, the surrounding Dutch countryside and cities, and also Brussels. We're going to be staying in a private room at the Flying Pig Hostel (because it was a lot of fun last time...and across from the beautiful Vondelpark!)
Then it's across (under) the Channel to London, where we'll be staying here for a few days.
Next we head to Edinburgh for a night, to stay at this apartment.
Finally, we're spending a few days in Dublin and the surrounding Irish countryside. At night we'll be returning to a guestroom at Dublin University, which they apparently use like a hotel in the summertime. Convenient, clean, and quite cheap.

Sounds like a great trip. Funny, we're also staying at a Sofitel this summer in Athens. I guess that makes us, um, travel cousins once removed?
